Women’s Health Awareness Month
Women’s Reproductive health. 98% of women in the U.S. access their care through primary care providers. Yet, fewer than 8% of family medicine residency programs train in full-spectrum reproductive health care. As a results, many women must travel over 50 miles to access the care they need.
The number of menstrual cycles in a woman’s lifetime on average is 451. Therefore, a woman will spend on average 3,000 days on her period.
This is an introduction to embroidery, with the pattern of a floral uterus and saying “Grow a Pair.” Color choices for the entire piece will be your own, pictured is just an unfinished example. Picture will be updated when item is finished. Thanks for understanding.
Please note – you will be provided all you need to complete this piece – except time. You will NOT finish this piece in the allotted workshop time, but will be sent with all you need to finish and you are always welcome to come back and work with us on Mondays from 5-7pm
