Description
This is a great way to use up all of our small pieces of glass. Create a picture, piece by piece. You don’t have to start from scratch, as you will be building your piece on a flower template. All those April showers have finally brought May flowers.
You will be taught how to cut class, in case you need smaller pieces. In this first session you will fill and glue your piece. You will need to return 24 hours (or more) later to grout your piece.
Snail pictured – flower choices will vary.
Materials Provided
- Glass of various colors and types
- Woodcut
- Glue
- Grout
- Cut resistant gloves
- Note: we understand that stained glass artisans rarely use gloves while working with glass. We will have the gloves available for you to use, but it is your choice. By not using our (or your) provided gloves, you are accepting the risk and liability of cuts and abrasions.
- Safety Glasses
- NOT optional. We will provide basic eye protection, or you are welcome to bring your own. If you normally wear glasses, that is acceptable for this activity. Contacts do not satisfy the safety requirement.
Notes:
The class fee is taxable per Alabama admission tax law. You can cancel up to five (5) days in advance for a full refund. Any cancellation within five (5) days of the event is not eligible for cancellation. Your class fee can be transferred to a later class.
