The family membership works as follows:
- Member privileges are assigned to two named adults.
- Member privileges are assigned to any number of named minors, i.e. under 18 years of age, with the following requirements:
- Each named minor must be an immediate family member, i.e. through blood, marriage, or adoption, of one or both named adults.
- Minors under the age of 16 must have at least one named member, who is their parent or legal guardian, present at all times in the Makerspace. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Makerspace.
- Minors who have a provisional Alabama driver’s license allowing them to drive unaccompanied may be present without a parent or legal guardian. All other minors must have a named member parent or legal guardian present at all times.
