The Artist: Professor Krislyn Koehn
Krislyn is an artist working in a range of digital and traditional media. Her black and white work finds power in wonder through themes of nature, weather, and childhood. She draws inspiration from her time living in Australia, Germany, and the remote American west. Krislyn completed her MFA at Texas A&M University in August 2020, and spent the following year as an artist in residence in Bryan, Texas. She currently lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and teaches at Shelton State Community College.
