Hand building ceramics class. Learn the basics to assemble your very own mug. Feel free to be creative. This is not a cookie cutter class, but instructions to let you make the mug/glass you have in your imagination.
Materials
- Clay
- Clay tools – rolling pin, ribs, sponges, texturing tools
- Glazes
Please note: You will not take a finished product home. Druid City Makerspace will fire your mug and have it available to glaze (during open hours). This will then require a second firing before you make take your completed piece. Cost for class includes workshop, clay, firing, glazing and firing again.
Notes:
The class fee is taxable per Alabama admission tax law. You can cancel up to five (5) days in advance for a full refund. Any cancellation within five (5) days of the event is not eligible for cancellation. Your class fee can be transferred to a later class.
