A great beginner hand building class. Make a dish with the use of a slab roller, drape mold and textured roller! Please note that this class takes place for the building of the dish. Glazes will be discussed, but you will need to return to the Makerspace to glaze your piece after it is fired the first time, and then will need to return to pickup the piece after it is glazed.
This class is taught by Tori Christensen – a local artist that specializes in art accessibility for the blind. She has pottery pieces featuring braille and lots of tactile fiber art. Also, she’ll be your biggest cheerleader – certainly a great starter class, if you’re nervous about checking classes at the Makerspace!

The class fee is taxable per Alabama admission tax law. You can cancel up to five (5) days in advance for a full refund. Any cancellation within five (5) days of the event is not eligible for cancellation. Your class fee can be transferred to a later class.
