An introduction to monotype printmaking. You will explore the terminology, tools and techniques used for Gel Printmaking.
You will go home with multiple prints on copy paper as you explore the printmaking process. After exploration we will use all of our tools to build multi-layered prints, which you will then transfer to a higher quality paper to take home as more professionally finished prints.
You are welcome to bring food and beverages – this is a more social class – as you will literally be watching paint dry. If you’re more of an introvert, feel free to bring a book, nintendo, other project to keep you busy while your layers dry!

- Brayer
- Acrylic Paints
- Texture Tools
- Stencils
This is a kid-friendly class. Come and beat the summer heat and create some art together! Or, if this is something your kiddo would enjoy – let them create art and you can sit and relax in the loft.
Notes:
The class fee is taxable per Alabama admission tax law. You can cancel up to five (5) days in advance for a full refund. Any cancellation within five (5) days of the event is not eligible for cancellation. Your class fee can be transferred to a later class.
