Stained Glass – Gourd in a Cup

Create your very own stained glass Gourd in a cup in this hands-on workshop. Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, you’ll learn the traditional copper foil method while crafting your gourd. This is a nice, but slightly challenging beginner piece – The challenge of this piece is the curved edges and small size.  Finish your piece with a “pumpkin spice” mug and seed beads of your choosing.

Throughout the class, you’ll be guided through each step of the stained-glass process, including:

• Safe glass cutting techniques
• Grinding and fitting your glass pieces
• Applying copper foil
• Soldering your project together
• Cleaning

Choose from all of our glass to make your piece with traditional fall colors or make it a kaleidoscope of your favorite colors.

All tools and materials are provided.  Closed-toe shoes are required, and safety glasses will be provided.
