Come and build a trinket dish. This is a basic introduction to ceramics and hand building.
Participants will:
1. Roll out and shape clay.
2. Use forms to create the dish
3. Use textured rollers and carving tools
Please note, this class will be the building of your dish. Your item will need to be fired in the kiln, then you can return and glaze it how you’d like. It will finally go home with you after a second firing.
The firing and glazing are included in the workshop price. Glazing is not scheduled, but you can stop by during open hours to glaze your piece.
