Stained Glass Pride Heart – 9/25 @ 6pm

Learn the basics with this beginner stained glass pattern. I pick the pattern, you pick the glass – make yours a Pride, Trans, or other LGBTQ+ flag-inspired patterns.  Druid City Makerspace, where art and identity shine together.  (If you want one of your own, but being a “maker” is not your thing, check out our booth at PrideFest on 9/28!

Participants will:
1. Select glass from a wide variety in store.
2. Learn to use scoring and breaking tools correctly.
3. Learn how to safely use the glass grinder to shape your pieces.
4. Foil and burnish your pieces to prep for soldering.
5. Safely use a soldering iron to finish your piece.
6. Clean your piece for a nice finished look.

Safety glass and gloves provided.

You will take home a finished piece, ready to hang in your window!
